Tiffany D. Hughey CPA, MBA

Managing Principal

Tiffany Hughey CPA, MBA is an experienced financial professional with over 15 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis and business planning. She has worked with many business owners, CEOs and executive directors on accounting and financial issues. Her clients have ranged in organizational size and industry in both the business and the non-profit sectors. She brings a unique perspective as a CPA and virtual CFO because of her diverse, first-hand executive management experience. She has lead businesses and nonprofits that ranged in revenue sizes from $1 million to $35 million and teams of 6 to 200 people.

She also has worked at the 5th largest CPA firm, RSM, U.S. LLP, where she focused on business tax preparation for partnerships and corporations and individual tax issues for high net worth business owners. She has an MBA from Harvard Business School and extensive education in accounting and finance. She is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas and a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Houston Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs.

Derrick C. Hughey, MBA

Managing Principal

Derrick Hughey, MBA is an experienced financial professional with over 18 years of experience in the oil, gas and power industries. He has experience in the areas of business development, enterprise risk management, FERC regulation, financial modeling, financial reporting, and project analysis. He has worked extensively on greenfield and expansion projects with capital investments ranging from $30 million to $7 billion. He brings a unique perspective as a virtual CFO because of his direct experience on capital projects from conception and economic evaluation to board of director approval. He has an MBA from Oklahoma State University and a BS in finance from Oral Roberts University.
